In case you haven’t heard, our 4th and 5th grade students are participating in a 1:1 ipad pilot program here at Pine Glen. So this week, I helped them set up their accounts in the Destiny app. Destiny by Follett is our district’s library management and we just love the web-based interface and the app. With their own logins, students can browse the library catalog, see what they have checked out, place items on hold, renew items, rate books, and write reviews. The app looks great and is easy to use. Students enjoyed searching the catalog, browsing the shelves, and putting books on hold while holding the library in their hands.
